Among the three the most celebrated one is the Rangali Bihu also known as Bahag Bihu. The main attraction of this festival is the Bihu dance done by young boys and girls accompanied by music sung by women.

Brahmaputra Beach Festival:

The Brahmaputra Beach Festival is held at Guwahati which is the capital and the largest city of Assam. Every year in the month of January, the Assam Boat Racing and Rowing Association (ABRRA) and the Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) organize this mega cultural fest. This festival also matches with the harvest festival of Assam (Magh Bihu). Various colorful and cultural programs of this festivals call on scores of tourists from across the world.
